Aurevity LLC d/b/a Aurevity Research (“Aurevity,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at research.aurevity.ai and the email-delivered intelligence service described therein. Aurevity LLC is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, the legal basis for processing, who we share it with, and your rights.
Categories of personal data we collect
- Account data — name, email, company, login credentials.
- Service inputs — websites and competitors you ask us to monitor.
- Communications — email correspondence with Axis, support messages.
- Usage & telemetry — opens, clicks, replies, device and IP address.
- Billing data — collected and processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record (we receive limited transaction metadata; we do not store full card details).
Purposes & legal basis
- Provide the service (contract performance) — produce briefings, run the reply workflow.
- Account & security (legitimate interests / legal obligation) — authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse.
- Billing (contract performance) — through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.
- Product improvement (legitimate interests) — quality monitoring, debugging.
- Customer support (contract performance) — respond to your inquiries.
What we monitor on the public web
Only public, non-paywalled web sources. We do not access logged-in, paywalled, or restricted sources, and we respect robots and terms-of-service signals.
Who we share data with
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer billing inquiries. See Paddle's privacy policy.
- Cloud infrastructure & AI providers — hosting, database, email delivery (Resend), and large-language-model processing (Lovable AI Gateway / Google Gemini / OpenAI).
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law.
A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
Data retention
We retain account data for the life of the account plus 12 months. Email and briefing content is retained for 24 months. Billing records are retained for 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Telemetry is retained in aggregated form for 13 months.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and routine review of access logs.
International transfers
Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your home country, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. UK and EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
